Recently, we worked with Yolanda S, whose close friend had just moved from her apartment into an assisted living community. Rather than let her friend’s furniture go to waste, Yolanda wanted to see it put to good use.
Our team helped remove and transport the furniture so it could be donated to a family moving into a new apartment in a safer community. Even better — the recipients came to help with the move, loading and unloading each piece with care and gratitude.
For Yolanda, it was a relief to know her friend’s belongings would bring comfort to another home. For the receiving family, it meant starting fresh with furniture they otherwise couldn’t afford.
